Yes, I have. I am able to connect using ActiveSync and I am able to use IE but I am not able to use ping - request time out.

It sounds like your Network connection did not complete ok.

First thing to check is if you have a personal firewall running. Start by turning it off and try again. Next, make sure the IP address for the Bluetooth adapter is 192.168.0.1, and that ICS is set from the physical adapter on the desktop to the Bluetooth adapter (and not the other way around).

Also, make sure 192.168.0.1 is not used in your network anywhere else (a router, or another computer).

perhaps the problem is that I am using network bridge to connect other computers at home. Can it be the issue?

It could be, but I know it works ok with Bridge. You have to look for some conflicts in address assignment.
