Hey Guys,
I got the Logitech DeNivo as a gift about 2 months back. I installed the software from the SetPoint Software from the CD and it ran fine for about 2 weeks. It stopped working all of a sudden. So I read all the forums out there, uninstalled all teh logitech software and the widcomm drivers. I then reinstalled the logitech software and widcomm drivers. I get a Red and Blue icon on my desktop. Also In the Devise Manager I donot have anything that says Bluetooth. Under USB I do have USB Composite Device. It goes away when I disconnect my USB dongle.
Also when I installed my Widcomm drivers, it said it cannot find any bluetooth devices connected. I have tried almost all the things out there that I could find.
Any help what so ever would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You probably shouldn't need to remove the software - perhaps just delete the pairing and create it again. But since you now have a fresh install you may need to follow this thread.

FAILED!
I GET THE RED AND BLUE BLUETOOTH ICON ON MY TASKBAR. WHen I click on it, it says No Bluetooth Device Found.

This is what I did.
1. Removed everything Bluetooth related. bt*.* from my computer.
2. Installed the Widcomm drivers 1.4.2.0 from the Logitech CD
3. Installed the Set Point Software from the CD.
4. Switched my computer off. Connect teh USB Hub and put batteries in the mediapad and keyboard.
5. Turned the computer back on and same thing. Gave me the red and blue icon.

I have tried almost every thing I can think of to get this to work? Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I know it works because it worked for me for 2 weeks and just stopped all of a sudden. Please HELP!

THanks

You should follow the instructions on that previous link when you get the red and blue icon. Have you done that?

Yeah! Did almost everything there is to do.

I installed the WIDCOMM drivers and I get the red and blue. I then plug in my HUB and XP recognizes it as a Genric USB Hub and as a USB Composite Device. It also adds a bunch of things under Human Interface Devices.

I really think I tried everything. I noticed one thing that was kind of stragne. Some of the bt*.* files under system32/drivers were from microsoft. When I tried replacing them with the WIDCOMM ones, they just got overwritten by MS.

Thanks for the help! But if you could help me further that would be great

You shouldn't need to replace the files. Simply install the driver, plug the adapter and then follow the advice on the link to change the drivers through Device Manager. The Microsoft files will still be there, but the OS will use the other ones. I have this on my tablet PC, where I had Microsoft, Toshiba and Widcomm installed.

Ok This is what I did,

Installed WidCOmm first.
Then Plug in the Blutooth adapter and windows installed it as a hub.
Went to device manager and pointed the Generic USB Hub as the previous thread said. But it keeps saying "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware"

So I dont know what to do next

Thanks again!

What I thought was really strange was that my denivo desktop worked for about 2 weeks before one day the blue and white widcomm bluetooth icon became red and blue. I then tried all the above and hasnt been working since.
