Hi all,

I have DSC home security system (model-Impassa SCW455NZ) and I am using ADT monitoring service which is going to expire next week; failure to extend ADT service will result in not able to arm/disarm system using mobile app (Alarm.com) that they have provided. However I will still be able to use remote to arm/disarm.

Since I own the security systems (bought it from and installed by ADT),

*** Is there any mobile app (like alarm.com) available in market which I can use to talk to DSC security system to arm/disarm the system (free of cost)? and do I need to get anything (codes, passwords, SM card details,etc.) from ADT that they may have used to setup/install DSC initially?

It sure helps w you could self monitor that, unless you can point the gsm modem at an IP address, site you own.

I do similar with a gps tracker that talks to a site at home, you have to manage your IP address changing (unless you have static).

And then you’d need something that the modem can talk to. Can you get an Ethernet module on it? Or replace the main board or switch to a konnected.io or the Konnected integration module?

I believe Konnected is designed to work with wired security system whereas mine is wireless one, having Z-Wave based wireless sensors.

After googling, found eyez-on module which works with wireless system; but it is Ethernet based, expensive and also as per website they don't look promising.

This alarm panels are another version of DSC9057.

Look for the option under [851]-[311] if this area is configurable or not. I recently discovered that it can send sms to your mobile as long as you input your phone number in this area.

you can program additional numbers in [851] [311]-[318]. This can be used to remotely arm/disarm alarm as well.
