Can someone please confirm for me that the Jaycar's 24VAC 1A UNREGULATED POWER SUPPLY BAREENDS can be use it on the Nest from the US? If so, the Jarycar told me that I can use 25A 2 CORE TINNED DC POWER CABLE as an extendtion wire with the power supply. Can someone confirm that too?

A Nest what? There's a whole range of Nest products. However, 24VAC sounds like an odd power type for any of them to run on.

In terms of the cable, that's way overkill, any 2-core power cable will do unless it's a long run and you're worried about voltage drop. Or run an extension cord to the Nest and plug the power supply into that.

Nest Hello is a their video doorbell. it says in their website its power requirement is 16V AC–24V AC so I thought that power supply would work. Any suggestion for the power supply then?

That's a really weird set of voltage requirements. The 24VAC power supply from Jaycar should do it, although given the wide input voltage range you may also be able to run it off a 24V transformer if you're comfortable doing the wiring yourself. In particular the weird voltage range is presumably meant to match a doorbell transformer, so if you can find one of those in NZ you could use that.

A lot of older control equipment is fed with low-voltage AC. Hardwired doorbells, aircon controls etc. Transformers used to be much cheaper than switchmode supplies, and they're still generally more reliable if treated well.

It's unlikely it will care about 50 vs 60Hz so it should work fine.
