Yes, I have been thinking a lot about that lately - about producing an rf remote wall switch with tiny button batteries. Although I have found it quite complex and expensive to make. especially when designing for the thinnest possible wall mount.

nate: Any hints on how to get the wireless bridge going with the app? Took forever just to get it on the wifi, but the app will just not work (I can ping the bridge from my phone fine)

One hint would be to use the FIXED IP you used on the Wifi Box, to use that one for sure in your APP.

Maybe just start off with a single zone remote and wall holder? 7yo kid is having issues turning her light on and off without turning them all on/off/strobe! :)

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

If anyone is waiting for it (I was) the guys at ninjablocks have updated their driver for the LimitlessLED/WifiLED lamps to include the white bulbs. (and written a pretty big howto).

The install is still a bit of messing about with the Linux shell. I've done the install, but as these things happen, I'm not there to test if they are working or not.

Guys - openHAB now has a dedicated binding for LimitlessLED bulbs + WIFI bridges. It is call MiLight and I am using it to control my one and only RGB bulb. Currently have it hooked up to a rule that changes the LED colour from GREEN to RED (gradually) as my power usage changes from 0c/hr up to 60c/hr (or greater). Very very cool having a constantly changing visualisation of my energy usage!

The binding supports white LEDS as well as RGBs.

Definitely worth a look.

I can't get any of the code samples to work, or the web interface to configure network settings.
The android app works fine.

When I try admin / 000000 for the web interface I get access denied. admin / admin works but I get the below???
It also defaults to 10.10.100.254 instead of 192.168.1.100 which is what all the documentation says....

Hi.
The manufacturer released a new wifi adapter box. You have one.
The new box has the advantage that it easily configures your box into the home-wifi-network.
But the disadvantage is that there is no API or documentation of it. (New software w/o config access).
We at AppLamp also asked the manufacturer ( NOT LIMITLESS LED ) or the old model would remain availble: Answer 0 in stock and zero will be re-produced.
So if you want to ploay with NINJA or any other framework... Get your hands on the old wifi boxes while you can.
We have only 40 remaining (shipping only available in EU market, or on special (shipping) request).

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to sell it here. I only warn people that want to build or are building some around the old type box.
