Oh dear, I have just swapped out 2 of my viribrights for the limitless and the 2 ES ones I got are making a beeping noise when they are either dimmed or not on the extreme of cool or warm white. Will try the in other lamps incase its a resonance with the downlight that is making it worse, but the old one I have didnt do it.

richms: Yay they have arrived, but with the new gateway I cant find the password for the web interface to configure it onto a static IP address? The new app let me configure a SSID and password, and now thankfully works with N so I can get rid of the old accesspoint I had running to let the old gateway connect, but I need to get the 2 new ones onto static IPs so I can start sending stuff to them from a rasp pi.

I read on the website they no longer have a web interface and you now have to static them via your router

Also seems you can't add the ip/port in the new app either - just finds the light bases on the same layer 2 and let's you name them.

Was hoping to put the ones for the downstairs lights on their own network with an openwrt or pi as a router putting it on both my and the flatmates lans for control of the lights going in the shared areas of the house.

Has anyone noticed a bug in the iphone version of the app?

I only have 1 bridge but every time I open the app, I have to select it from the top left list for it to work, when it used to make it the default
This is using the older bridge, untested with newer bridge which is on order

I don't think the app is even seeing my old bridge.

Certainly didn't come up like the new ones do once configured.

The app isn't seeing my N wireless - no spaces or funny characters in the SSID, anyone know what's wrong?

Make sure they are not connected to a wall dimmer, because even full power, that can cause beeping.

I had just one of the 16 bulbs in a house that did that once, you could dim it a little, or wind it back a bit from full cool white, or back a bit from full warm white, and it would run perfect. I replaced it for the customer with a brand new one, and the problem disappeared.

Just ordered a set, however a little confused that you charge in USD, but include GST and Fastway courier charge then the total is charged in USD?
Maybe a suggestion I didn't know the charges were in USD until hitting the Paypal link, possibly add USD to each of the prices?

Also bought a bunch of these a couple of weeks ago and I'm very impressed. For the price nothing compares but like others have commented I'm keen to see two way communication in future versions. The ability to check the light state is the only way to robustly integrate these into home automation systems which might be controlled from various sources.

If you're willing to share I'd be keen to hear what improvements/products you have in the works for the future and also whether we'll ever see the strip-lights / down-lights at limitlessLED prices.
