Any e 14 ones in the plan? Ideally candle shaped without any garish gold metal parts like the Chinese seem to love putting on lamps. Black preferred to match the chandler but I guess I can spray paint the exposed parts if they're white.

The only issue I have now is that the bulb is just a tad too big for the fitting ( there's a glass sleeve it has to pass thru which I've removed temporarily ).

Are you going to get smaller bulbs made?

yes we now have smaller ones available on our website.

Almost there! But the opening is 55 mm so 56 mm won't work for me.
Perhaps I could try the GU10 versions and find an E27 to GU10 adapter somewhere?

LimitlessLED, do you think you may release bulbs in the future that can report their status back in some way? It'd be very helpful to be able to tell whether a light is on or off in my software.

Additionally, is the bridge required if I'm looking to automate through something like OpenHAB?

FYI Azak - openHAB already has support for these LEDs via the Milight binding (https://github.com/openhab/openhab/wiki/Milight-Binding). I am pretty sure it does require the WIFI bridge however, since that is the only way to talk to the lights.

My small RGB+CW one has just arrived off DX and no flicker when dimmed at all! Woohoo. Might have to hit hamish up for a case-lot of them sometime soon.

Just got mine today but I can't configure the bridge on iOS (8 if that matters). I'm connected to miilight WiFi network, and the link button is on but when I run the app I get no choice of bridge or ability to configure it.

Based off the instructions does the WiFi bridge act as a proxy for my WiFi signal and if so, what does it use? A/C/N, what?

Hi AzaK, send me an email with a screenshot, and I will take a look for you. It shouldn't be doing that, there is a configuration spanner icon down the bottom of the screen that allows you to enter your home wifi username and password after selecting the SSID from a list that the wifi bridge discovers. -Hamish.

Shameless plug but if anyone is interested my Limitless LED controller app is now on the Play Store;

The app allows you to schedule your lights based on times. It also allows you to control your lights via text message (I use this in conjunction with IFTTT ie turn light on when I arrive home).

The app is free and I would appreciate any feedback.

Main thing I want to work out is to integrate them with iRule. I added them as a device last night when playing around with the builder and it was good to see someone has them listed already so I am sure that is half the battle :-)

flynkiwi, thanks mate. I don't have an RGBW bulbs (I only have dual white) so the app doesnt really cater for those bulbs yet. Im happy to work with you on that if your interested.

I hadn't seen iRule, looks interesting. My main goal was to re-purpose an old Android phone (which is also my alarm clock). It controls my lights on a schedule and I also have more complicate recipes set up on IFTTT.

I just got a new Macbook Pro with xcode6.1, and I am reprogramming a new version of the LimitlessLED and Milight apps (yes I am also programing the equivalent on android and windows and windows phone). I would like some opinions on one thing I am stuck with...

When you first open the app, I was thinking of having a menu/summary screen with 3 large images: Scenes, Lights, and Triggers/Alarms. with a counter showing how many of each are available, just like instagram.

OR

would you prefer for the app to just take you straight into the scenes screen, where you can pick an item from your scrollable list of preset scenes. or lights screen, or triggers screen, or last opened screen?
