Whats the pebble cost? Useless website doesnt want to sell me one.

How is it going to be better than the broadlink bean or similar?

There is a buy link on there web site plus you can get from HVAC dealers.

No idea how where or why it is better just offering a suggestion.

I use an Orvibo Allone to control my Toshiba Heatpump. I've integrated it with IFTTT too by running my own "cloud" server (instead of their one).

You can pick them up for about $30 sometimes.

Edit: Actually there are several on ebay for NZ$24

I just ordered one of the Broadlink mini's to play with.

I've got one for my Panasonic and it recognised the model. It's awesome. I also bought a WiFi "smartplug" to turn on my lounge lamps.

I'm going to get the bigger broadlink one day as it has the temp sensor built it AFAIK.

I have the green broadlink sensor thing. Very limited in that it can only do rules in their own app, cant read or chart details elsewhere. Till they open up a little I wouldnt get to invested in their gear.

Thanks all, seems like Mitsubishi built in wifi sill needs to be hacked properly, but there are a number of other options to consider.

Mitsubishi also requires WPS which doesn't appear to be a feature of the Cambium cnpilot E400...

Hold the button down till it flashes different, then connect to the AP it makes and do it again, the eazy setup thing seems to never work unless you are very lucky and not near too many networks and other accesspoints etc.

I have the Mitsi Wifi control. My issue is that it uses the old Wifi security, which is very frustrating as I need an old WAP just for that. There is a minutes delay, but it's not a big deal to me.

I really rate having Wifi control, but wish it had stats I could refer to etc.

One for my Panasonic would be ideal.

I would buy another Mitsubishi Heatpump in a heart beat. I'd never buy another Fujitsu.

@networkn I'm considering getting one of these for my heat pump at home. I've had a look at the online demo thing to make sure it will do everything I want, but there is one thing I am not sure of:

When you set a schedule you can specify the mode and temperature but not the fan speed. So is the fan speed on a scheduled activation set to whatever it was when your programmed the schedule, or whatever the heatpump was set to when last used.

I ask because often in the evening I will turn the fan speed down so it is not as loud while watching TV, but if I have it scheduled to come on automatically in the morning I will always want to to start up on auto speed. I don't want to have to remember to manually change the speed back to auto at the end of the evening.

If you don't know the answer to this, would you be in a position to test this for me?

WPS is annoying. Can you set the old AP with the same SIDD and passphrase as your non-WPS APs just for connecting the heatpump and then turn off the old AP? I.e. do you just need the old AP for the initial connection?
