JEDENZED: JB Hifi NZ offering an online only deal of NZD$99 for TWO Echo Dots. Includes free shipping.

Fifty bucks of local currency per Dot is a very appealing price point, particularly when the post-introductory price will reportedly be $89 per Dot...
Very good spotting, I hope its not a stuffup on there part like they have a history of doing. I could believe that discount in AU, but here its almost down to the black friday USD prices converted so probably a mistake since nothing is ever cheap here.
It better not be a stuff up. I now have an order confirmation from JB for 2 Dots for $99 so that’s what I’m expecting.
KaroriPete:
I think the Noel Leeming pre-order special prices are pretty good - $69 for a Dot and $152 for an Echo. Quite a bit cheaper than what I paid for my imports on TM. Might have to liven up a couple more rooms :)
I just looked up on my Amazon history my dot was $29.99 USD and my you shop postage was $17.60 NZD would roughly cost me $58 NZD and my Echo would be $160 NZD total , so the Echo's are a good price the dots not so much compared to what i paid

Or like Windows Phone...
My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
JEDENZED:
As posted above, if the JBHifi bundle of $99 for two Dots proves to be legit, it would work out to be a near 15% saving on your Amazon US deal (including youshop delivery). I’d say that would make them a very good price.
yes it would JB is the winner here at the moment

So what would I use an Echo Dot for ? I've got a grand total of one Echo which is moderately useful, but I'm not into home automation and the kids have bluetooth speakers anyway.
Can it be used as an intercom ? might be useful at dinnertime when the kids bedroom doors are closed - you're dinners ready...YOU'RE DINNERS READY...OI!!!, EAT NOW!!!

That does sound useful compared to yelling down the stairs but not sure SWMBO would think its worth $99 though.

I can drop in to a specific alexa device at home from my phone.
But it is possible to drop in to all your home devices simultaneously? I'd like to get the attention of my son but I don't know which part of the house he is in. I can drop in individually to every device till I find him but it could be easier.
I don't know which way i should go, alexa or google home....... Each are good in their own way :(
Also JBHIFI have 2 echos for $250 ($150 each currently then $180)
Noels has it for $270.
Also skytv will be having alexa skills next month :)
