What are the chances that two Harmony 650 universal remotes have the same fault? I purchased a Harmony 650 from Tomorrow & IT and after a few months I started getting an error message "if devices are still on press help", and I would then go into an endless cycle of turning devices off and on and the remote would basically reset itself when I attempted a command.

I re-synced the devices (Panasonic TV, Panasonic Home Theatre, Roku 3 and Sky decoder) but still no luck. I sent the device back to the company and they replaced it with a new device....and a few months later the exact same problem. Apparently it's a fairly common fault with the hardware and no apparent fixes. Has anyone else experienced issues with this remote?

I've given up and am back to using 4 remote controls :( The 650 is an entry level product and I have no desire to spend several hundred on a top of the range universal remote, but I still expected a lot more from the remote than 3 months use.

That's poor. I have been using a 680 for several years, now, with no problems. Hope that statement doesn't jinx me!

I have been using my 650 for 3 years now without any issues.
Maybe a problem with the latest batch?

I have a similar issue with mine when the battery life is low - new batteries always does the trick for me

I'm using Eneloop rechargeable batteries on mine.
Would last about a year per charge.
