I have three Google Home Devices that have stopped working. They have been working fine until a couple of days ago. Each device says it is not connected to the Google Home App. If I go into the app I can see all three devices but cannot reconnect. Have spent the last couple of hours working with Google Techies and so far no progress. I have tried doing a factory rest on device and starting from scratch but it goes right through the setup and fails when it tries to write the details to the Home Device. One thing Google suggested is that maybe my ISP Orcon have made changes to router setup that might be stopping the connection, but I cannot check if this so. Google sent me some things to check in router but I have no idea where they might be in the NF4V. here are the items
- Enable: Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), multicast, Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
- Disable: AP/client isolation, virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, IGMP Proxy. VPNs and proxy servers should be disabled on your computer as well (if applicable).
Anyone with Google Home experiencing problems? Anyone using Orcon Netcom NF4V router that could help with settings of wifi area that I can check to see if they have changed? especially in relation to the above
Thanks
