lduncan: Success! My iPhone is registered on VF's network with my existing VF SIM, and I can make and receive calls with it.

I'm happy :-)

Is that using SuperSim method?

Yeeha! Got my iPhone today at last. It's such a sexy beast when you're actually holding it. Love how it's so cold to touch.

Now I've just gotta wait for a software unlock so I can actually use the thing - any chance you've got any TurboSIMs left there lduncan? I'm sick of waiting on a software unlock and I don't really wanna go pulling the phone apart to try the hardware 'gUnlock'.

Yes i do. I've setup a business to supply and lock bypass. Did 14 phones today.

I probably shouldn't link to my site here though (probably against forum rules?). pm me if interested.

Also, If the iPhone price on Parallelimported doesn't fall to less than $900ZD (399USD = 580NZD, Add unlocking and a $100NZD margin as well as tax) I will not be getting one for a long, long time.

I tried to inquire about one today and Parallel imported's useless customer service was typically bad.

It's bound to suddenly spring up all over the show with a bargain or two to be had now.

Parallel imported. Hmm, would be a NZ first, if there weren't already several hundred iPhones in NZ ;-)

So mate are you associated with http://www.iphoneunleashed.co.nz ?  Will you be offering iPhones unlocked using the iPhoneSimFree method?
I would rather that unlock method as it seems less messy, and will probably be cheaper.

I think he is using TurboSim. There are no software unlock solutions available to public.
