waikariboy:

ordered, took 2mins iPhone XS Max 512GB.

Wow. Did not even consider 512GB. I have 256 on my iPhone 7 Plus and still have 171 GB left.

Can't see how I would be able to need or use 512 GB anytime soon.

Managed to order the XS Max by 7:05, the app was still saying down but the website came up first so used the website to place the order instead

Interesting in America the 512gb version shipping date slipped pretty quick, whereas the 64 and 256gb have slipped in NZ already.

512gb still delivering 21/9

I do, mainly because it covers accidental damage for a smaller fee than insurance

Chatting at work today, I asked, if you have a 600k house, you can put 214 iPhones next to it, probably fit in two beer crates, same value.

Perspective.

Yes I know, I just didn't expect the 512gb to outsell the others given its cost

Just ordered the XS Max 64 through Apple. Was hoping to get one through Vodafone, using their 24 month interest free payment option. When I got to this part, it said only 512 can be paid over 12 or 24 months!
I then tried calling Apple to get the Gem visa 12 month interest free deal. Each time there was a message about being overloaded, and I was disconnected.
Ended up buying it with 6 months interest free online - will just have to pay it off quicker....
Says delivery in 1-2 weeks.

Preordered my iPhone XS Max 64GB through Spark. I was initially torn between the new gold or silver but after watching a few hands on videos with the gold one, I decided it looked a bit too feminine for me.

Now onto what case to get, what are you guys wrapping these devices in?

I preordered the XS Max 256gb in Space Grey from 2degrees as soon as the preorders opened. Have not heard a peep yet in my emails (a little worrying!) but I'm sure they'll deliver. My card has sure been charged!

I'm finding it interesting that the xr is not being sold by telecos or stores in NZ. Only place I can find to buy one is Apple. Think they are trying to control sales of the cheaper device by store/telcos?

These aren’t available for preorder until 19/10 which is when our telcos will start offering them. It’ll be interesting to see if they offer all the colours as traditionally our telcos have chosen not to stock many/if any colour variants of other devices in the past.
