Well, since you ask I'm taking the family down to the Naki to visit a friend who lives on a dairy farm who's about to have her second child...

so: cold, wet, possibly snowing, no sleep, possibly tearing up sheets and boiling water, helping to milk cows.

hmmm. Not sure where the "holiday" bit comes into it acutally.

(not sure what clues you'll find in there - happy hunting! Innocent)

I love a challenge, well the "cold, wet, possibly snowing and no sleep" refers to the people queuing in line all night..
the "Possibly tearing up sheets" refers to finding out there is bugger all stock.
the "boiling water" refers to what vodafone will be in, with loads of unhappy campers...
and finally milking the cow" is obviously Apple, cos they are going to make loads from this product (when stock finally arrives)

Hows that....

Hehe - my point exactly, here is an exert from Pauls favorite book on Wikipdia - The title is a play on the word serve having the dual meanings "assist" and "provide as a meal".

Have a good holiday, you're going to need it!

cheers - motorwayne

Surely this quote out of todays herald is not correct:

'The improvements will benefit users of internet-capable mobile devices - like Apple's iPhone 3G, which Vodafone will launch in New Zealand on July 10 - and those in remote areas, who can connect laptops or other computers using 3G network cards or USB 'Vodem' modems.

Surely this is a typo by an uninformed reporter?  I hope so!

Everyone knows that it's July 11 here in New Zealand.

Either it's a typo, or that the author thought it was going to be a US July 11 launch worldwide.

No, we're ahead of them. Our 11 July starts while they are still 10 July. So if our launch is early on the 11th it will be the 10th in US time. Wink
