James Bond: Is there anyone other than the Apple Store that sells the iPhone 4 Dock?

The whole $15 shipping from Apple New Zealand just isn't acceptable. Especially since Apple Australia has free shipping.

I rang Apple on Monday and complained, they sold me one for $55 and shipped it for free.

Turned up yesterday.

I've got the deal extreme one - theres a remote available for it to, not as finished as the apple one but works fine none the less.

Also just popped out to Takapuna Vodafone in westfield - scored the last 32GB iphone in the shop! wahoo! cancelled apple.co.nz order just now. Feel so sorry for the guys in there, 2 really difficult customers in store at the same time.

Manukau Vodafone had 3 more 32GB's in stock when I was there earlier, too bad I was looking for the 16GB.

Good enough for me, just order one.

So noone here cancelling their Apple store orders and chaining themselves to Vodafone for the iPhone 4?

Not this little black duck. My wife and I plan to both switch to 2Degrees. She'll probably do it as soon as her iPhone arrives from the Apple store, and I'll do it as soon as I've used up my remaining prepaid credit.

Thinking very seriously about going on the $40 plan for about a day then cancelling. Works out to about the same price, so why not. I sold my 3G a week ago and it's not a lot of fun being phoneless.
I might hold off if the online date was closer but I'm still down for delivery on the 26th and no evidence it'll be any sooner. Seeing stock go straight to the stores is pi$$ing me off a little too..

Lucky. You get to be with someone that (at least publicly) seems to care about you.

Finally got a 32gb from Glenfield Vodafone this afternoon.

Cheers for all the info that everyone posted on this forum. Been monitoring it since the week of the 'launch' and keeping up to date.

Good luck to everyone who's still trying to get their hands on one.

The iphone40 plan is a pretty good option if you want to spread your cost over two installments.

Awesome toy!! Loving it. Keen to try a few speed tests tomorrow between vf and tc. Got some sims to trim.

Does someone have the link for that spread sheet showing how much each phone will cost + disconnection fee?

What time was that? Anyone know which stores still had some late this afternoon - I am keen to pick one up first thing tomorrow morning (AK City)

Thanks!

It pretty much works out that you can get the phone on the iPhone 40 plan, disconnect it the next day and only pay $1,069 + probably a proportion of the $40 monthly fee.

TBH I don't know why someone would wait 3 weeks to get one from Apple. You might as well just buy one from VF and cancel the contract the next day.

With the apple store, do they charge your card at checkout or when the phone ships?
