manhinli:You're right... sometimes strange things happen on the international date line Laughing

They sure do. Sadly on our side of the dateline it seems that it's not today we find out.
Anyone have hope for the plans for tomorrow? Others I've heard are the day before and of course Monday...
I believe the phones are meant to arrive at stores on Tuesday from some rumours. Knowing NZ you'll probably find they're still in shipping and don't get here in time for launch lol

As the release day itself draws closer, the odds that one of us guesses the correct day Vodafone will release pricing info increases.

PaulBrislen: Well, since you ask I'm taking the family down to the Naki to visit a friend who lives on a dairy farm who's about to have her second child...
so: cold, wet, possibly snowing, no sleep, possibly tearing up sheets and boiling water, helping to milk cows.
hmmm. Not sure where the "holiday" bit comes into it acutally.
(not sure what clues you'll find in there - happy hunting! Innocent)

Family - sales team..
Holiday - business trip overseas
Dairy farm - existing Cash cow business...  (did not mention orchard)
Second Child - iPhone 3G
weather - at 20,000 feet
No sleep - jet lag
Tearing up sheets - all existing contracts and plans
Boiling water - sure it will feel boiling...

Helping milk cows - coming together with a sales strategy and pricing so that Apple & VF can get the cash cows mooing...

Maybe just a good old VF executive junket to Mt Taranaki in some old lodge on a farm to do the same as above...

Would look a bit silly lining up outside a store already only to find (on Friday) that they were not allocated any due to the shortage!

I think I might wait to see what stores will actually have them.
