My iphones are stuck in Hong Kong and I spelt my address correctly!

What bad luck.

In anticipation of an early arrival next week (and a rush on XT microsims), I popped into the Telecom store in Westfield Riccarton (chch) today and asked to grab a microsim.

Served by Craig. Recieved AWESOME service. Got some good tips on apps, plans, setup etc. Transferred from an old Okta Boss on Telecom CDMA prepay (OneBill) to a v3 MicroSim XT Onebill ($10 p/m) includes 200 txts and $12 for 120meg data. Because OneBill is technically a 'contract' even though it's open-term... the microsim was free!! Cheers Telecom. Cheers Craig.

Of course, my phone is now dead because the microsim is now active, but it means no waiting once TnT deliver. Woohoo.

Was told there are very few microsims per store because Telecom have no official phones requiring them. 1 box of 20 were at the Westfield Riccarton store... so a hint to others... get in quick! (Like tomorrow morning if you can be without a phone for a couple of days!!!)

Passed by Voda-fail on the way out to play with the iPhone4 demo unit. "Can I help you" said a pimpley nerd, "No thanks, I'm all sorted"... *grin*

I live in Dunedin and mine is still in Hong Kong.

Does anyone else have a revolving orange and white "!" beside their consignment number? Is this normal?
