Anyway, she said it still has taken too long and is likely lost so has couriered one out to me this time. When does it ship? 12/10, delivering on the 14th. At least it's only the case and if my first one does turn up they said I can keep it.

My phone arrived from Apple yesterday. The first thing I did was go to Vodafone on Lambton Quay to get a micro-sim. They were out, but I was directed to the Manners Mall shop who would apparently give me a free one. Well, they didn't think so, and were pissed at what the Lambton Quay shop said. (The Manners Mall shop is a franchise and not an official Vodafone store, apparently). VF should get their sh*t together. About three of us were directed there within a few minutes of each other.
Anyhoo, after having played with the v4, I decided that the retina display is nice, but I coud have coped with the same display as on my 3G. But everything else is much better. My TomTom GPS can actually keep up - it used to be frustrating betting told to turn after I'd driven through the intersection cos the 3G was so slow. And I don't have all the GPS dead spots I had with my old phone.
Hmm, well I'm thinking I now need an iPad. The screen on the Touch/Phone is just too small for web browsing and I'd like a bigger one for books too. I'm going to get the cheapest one since everything I REALLY need to be mobile is on my phone and the iPod gets to go with me into the garden.
The web site says 24 hr shipping. Does that mean from China or would that mean from NZ? Anyone know?

It was interesting because when I called up she said it was disappointing what had happened. She actually said it would be couriered out that day and delivered by the end of this week! Then I saw the confirmation and realised it was another month away... aaaaand I dropped my phone onto tiles yesterday! Small dent on the metal.
So I'm taking it back and asking for a refund because I should have had my case by now and I wouldn't have had the dent if it had been shipped when they said it was going to be... Haha could you imagine!

Lol there is no way I'm ringing them about that! I blame my hands... Although I'm sure people ring with pretty stupid demands.
