Yes -kind of.  We were going to get one for my partner but I think I'll wait and see if iPhone 2.0 is hacked, update my current one with the jailbroken version of 2.0 and give it to her, and then get myself a 3G one.  All of this will be after Christmas though, early 2009 - hopefully pricing is more realistic then!

Still on contract with Telecom, wait until that is done, then consider my options, always realistically expected to replace/sign new contract sometime next year, and hopefully, telecom will have come to the party as have had the same phone number for the last 7 years!
