Funnily enough though, there's still hyperlinks taking you to the VFNZ website from Apple's website, so there's clearly still a partnership happening.

I'd say pre-registration has been removed along with other stuff due to there being no point in it being there in its current form with a launch iminent.

Also, of course, there's the possibility that all of this is simply a figment of your imagination and you will wake up tomorrow and the world will exist outside of the rarified Appleness air and life will go on...

Also noticed a reference to Vodafone 360 on the Microsim page on VF's website...very interesting.

I foolishly sold my 3G about 5 weeks ago for $450 hoping that they'd actually be out Friday.

How many picks will there be for a picker of a poster pickers pick to get picked at?

Yep +1 to that! I'm not getting one tomorrow anyway (cheaper for me to source from overseas) so it doesn't affect me, but still a good show that Vodafone are putting on!

Tomorrow will be interesting!

What a funny floppy way to launch a phone. Why spoil a VF tradition i guess. Tongue out

Its gone from Worldwide fail and complete embarrassment and ridicule to meh and now to another fark up. It looks like Vodafone is going around in circles.

ROFL!

That pretty much sums up the whole situation around the iPhone 4 launch in NZ I  would say...!

The iphone 4 registration will have been removed due to the fact that as someone mentioned above it is now redundant and also that Vodafone has been receiving so much flak about it here and on other websites!

There is also the fact that they need to make way for new information.

I think that if iPhone stock has not yet arrived in New Zealand, the date would not have been confirmed and Vodafone would have said something about it.

It is too late for it to be canceled now, not without an announcement earlier today!
