Folks, I heard a rumour of a story of something coming out soon. Waiting for press release. But as I said it could be a rumour.

On the other hand, I have disabled ads in all Apple iOS forum pages so you can load these pages faster...

mnkey: The iphone 4 registration will have been removed due to the fact that as someone mentioned above it is now redundant and also that Vodafone has been receiving so much flak about it here and on other websites!

There is also the fact that they need to make way for new information.

I think that if iPhone stock has not yet arrived in New Zealand, the date would not have been confirmed and Vodafone would have said something about it.

It is too late for it to be canceled now, not without an announcement earlier today!

That's what I was thinking as well, they would have known days ago if stock wasn't going to be here on time.

Totally agree. My prediction: launch as usual. Same old plans. Availability everywhere.

I have just come from the only Vodafone owned store in Hamilton (Chartwell) were the guy was just getting off the phone. According to the guy the release has been pulled.

Well be interesting to see if this plays out.

JimmyC: Actually, that should be a Nandroid... (bored with launch topic, picking on poster pickers pick...)

How many picks will there be for a picker of a poster pickers pick to get picked at?

It would be better for them to release it and not have enough then not release.

we've all been waiting so damn long for this. vodafone will loose so much from this. we;ve hyped each other up about this. i think i trust apple/vodafone enough that they would mentioned something earlier and not leave us all hanging - although it could just be me feeling hopeful... :(

Too late to pull the release surely. Apple's press release ealier this week was clear. Available for outright purchase from Apple resellers.

Maybe Vodafone are out, but this would be a huge PR disaster if that really is the case.

That's just totally untrue.

Everyone here that was intent on buying one, myself included, is only going to want one MORE if they really cancel this launch.

You know it. Apple knows it. Apple knows you know it.
