I would guess you could get better wireless headphones for less.

JarrodM: Those airpods look good, can't imagine the no price will be as attractive here though

$269.00

A bit pricey for my liking.

Torn between jet black and black argh. Think I've definitely decided on the 128GB plus, going from a 6.

So in the UK we are getting the interest free deal, which is pretty good - upgrade after 11 payments, free to cancel any time (make a balloon payment) and no fee for set up. Might go with that. Would be getting a 7 128GB in Jet Black...

Be interesting to see what the mobile companies do here cause they still do these contracts...

Why does the Stuff article say "It's trying to limit the irritation by including wireless earbuds and a 3.5mm to lightning adaptor with each phone." and also include a pic of the NZ$15 dongle you will have to buy to connect traditional headphones?

The dongle is included in every box?? You will be able to buy them separately aswell for $15

Stuff has got it wrong there saying wireless headphones with every phone.

Stuff reporting top notch as usually by the looks of it

Cant see that on the UK store - whats in the box is the dongle, charger and lightning phones.

Over the years, rumours were rumours, but its very clear that they are leaks, this year it was near exactly right. Same as last year.

Camera looks good, thats about all I can say. Jet black might well turn into slipperygate.

MR says

Wired Lightning in-ear EarPod headphones and a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter are included in the box. Apple is offering Siri-enabled wireless earbuds called AirPods as a separate accessory, available for $159 in late October. (US$)
