This is definitely a textured finish not air. Had some minor bubbles which disappeared over 24-hr period. I can see and feel the texture in the back piece which hasn't been applied yet. Really looking to find out if the Best Skin Ever has the same finish. If it's nice and smooth I'll buy one.
I have the Best Skins Ever cover on both back and front of my iPhone. Had it on now for about 6 weeks and am more than happy with it.
yeah it was kinda fiddly to apply and takes a good 24-48 hours to fully set but from that point forward it's brilliant. Has a slight rubbery feel to it and is absolutely scratch resistant! I hardly notice it is on.
yeah it has a faint "orange peel" type look to it but is only really noticeable when looking hard at it and with the screen off. When the screen is on you can't detect a thing. The feel of the skin is also completely smooth so the slightly rippled effecty must be on the surface that is in contact with the phone itself.
Honestly, it's really great. I've used the other standard screen protectors and they really don't compare. If it's the protection of your iPhone that you're after and don't want to hide it away in a hard shell case then this is by far the way to go.
