ChrnoXIII: lol i think midnight release is out of the question.

so david, how far away between the iphone 3GS launch in nz and the email being sent? cuz im tempted by it ae... is it worth the wait? or shud i jsut go buy it first thing tomorrow? haha... or wud it jst not come this time round? O.o

I don't recall the details from July 2009. The e-mail message might have been sent out earlier on the launch day. It definitely was not this late in the evening (currently 11:47pm).

I am starting to think that there may be no iPhone after all... There has been no word from Vodafone, only Apple, and the press release was basically just a mass one for the other countries to use as well. There has been no coverage anywhere (Only about it NOT bing out tomorrow) and New Zealand is the only that have been kept in the dark.

I am highly doubting that there will be an iPhone 4 to buy anywhere tomorrow, even on the online Apple store.
I just want to buy the phone outright too, no plan or anything. I know that, that wont happen with Vodafone anytime soon. Damn it. Good night!

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

That iPad stuff went up a day or two ago, but that's unusually slow of them, usually happens as the product is being announced.

Damn you Apple store, time for bed I guess.

+1

But I find it hard that Apple would confirm NZ for Friday and pull out at last minute, they would have made a press release by now, lets just ignore Vodafone for now. Would such a large company like Apple do this?

The whole situation is pretty weird. Only one thing's certain - something strange is going on behind the scenes somewhere. Be interested to hear what it is when it comes out...
