MikeB4: $1829 for the top 7 plus is a big chunk of cash for a phone. Lots of good laptops and tablets less than that.

world goes crazy.

2 years ago I purchased new MBPro with Retina for $1349...

Oh well, I guess I'm too poor to ever own an iPhone :(

You can buy an ok car for that, but a phone doesn't need a garage, so what a bargain!

I like the jet black but that thing will be a fingerprint magnet and possibly more slippery.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jet Black is actually less slippery. If you run your finger across the front and back of a current iPhone 6 or 6S the super smooth glass is actually grippier than the matt aluminium on the back. The same might be true for the polished aluminium finish.

Just installed iOS 10 and already found a bug (it's capitalising everything despite having auto-capitalise turned off in the settings).

Edit: And my custom "text replacements" didn't work until I went into Settings and looked at them. They were still listed, and they work now that I've been in there.

"Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear."

Is this another way of saying "good luck on warranty claims from water damage"?

Ha, you can't actually download yet as it doesn't get released until later.

Maybe you have a beta? Where you'd expect some bugs of course.

I'm so torn...

Currently have a 128GB iPhone 6.

Not sure if worth upgrading or not.

And if I do should I go Black or Jet Black?

Should I buy direct from Apple (isn't it 12 month warranty from Apple, but 24 months from Spark?)?

HELP!!!

Apple are taking the pi$$ on NZ pricing thou,

They quietly sliced $100 off the Ipad pro 12 inch and $50 off the 9 inch pro and regular Air 2(+ boosted its min memory to 32GB) ,  ( as the NZ Dollar has risen over the last year)

but they insist on keeping the $1199 entry point for the new iphone......

Sounds like Aussie are also being given no reduction from Apple despite their rising currency ..

Nothing really revolutionary in this release. But good to see a bump up in battery life and waterproofing.

Shame about the headphone jack

Assuming that once batterygate-free phones are available nothing changes, VF had the Note 7 with a 100% subsidy.

So...a free Note 7 or a very expensive iPhone 7. Hmmm. Tricky.

The first third party to come out with a charging/headphone Y cord is gonna make a killing....
