Keynote: Just contacted Apple re: shipping times and they said before the start of next month, which is basically 6 weeks after most of us have ordered (Sep 28).

They also said mine could take longer as black iPhones have a lot more demand.... my order was for a white one though, so guess they're just giving an automated response to everyone who enquires, lol.

Edit: @Strongbad, my brother ordered an iPhone 4S and it arrived in less than 24 hours from Aussie - TNT are a very fast courier company.

What delivery dates do you have on our order conformation?

Hey they are great just bare in mind they recess the home button just a little, they give you little covers but I find they stick out a bit.

Ok, thanks. Do they last longer than those you might buy on trademe? Less scratching etc.

Yeah 100x better in terms of scratch proofing and you won't get curling corners. Its a please of glass as opposed to thin plastic so it's like comparing a scratch able DVD vs bluray disk strong and hard to scratch. They are a little harder to put on.
Personally I like a good quality plastic one (like sgp crystal hd) cheap to replace.

Yep, they are great.  I like the oleophobic glass and prefer that to a plastic screen protector.  They do recess ur home button.  Be wary that you only get one go to put it on, so if you have never put a screen protector on before, you may want to get someone who has done so to help.  It needs to be well lined up.

also note that amazon dont ship this to NZ directly, so you will need to forward on to a US forwarding agent.  I used comGateway and bundled in a few books I needed to get at the same time.

You can also get it straight from the Spigen site

http://www.spigen.com/iphone-5-screen-protector-glas-tr-premium-tempered-glass-series.html

That's the newer model that has tapered edges.
Have purchased an iPod Touch screen protector straight from the site before and it arrived within a week or so. Shipping to NZ is about $6 I think.

thanks ib.  I just realised I ordered the older model Embarassed.  Luckily i could cancel on amazon and update to this model.  PS shipping is approx $28 from spigen direct.

Ah, with FedEx yes. I ordered with regular international post but that was for a $15 screen protector so risk wasn't as high.
