I'm ordering mine on Apple online, and patiently wait for it to ship in 3 weeks time. Can't be tossed dealing with Vodafone's warranty thing.

Got one for my daughter (32Gb) at Vodafone Northlands (CHCH). Apparently they only had 20 ... I also picked up the only case they had, a Pink Case Mate Barely There. I can't say I really think the screen is mind blowing ... I'm not sure I could tell the difference in a blind test like Steve-o waxed on about at the launch ...

Well I just called up VF and gave them a talking too. Apparently they didn't know that you had to be 18+ months into contract to resign to get one for some reason (Yeah right)

And no I am going to be called back (apparently) and have the situation explained etc.

Useless pricks, all I wanted was the dam phone and talk about a waste of a day and then being told no

With such a successful launch event for the iPhone 4 in NZ, roll on 2011 Rugby World Cup and party central!

Thousands of fans from all over the world turn up to find an A4 printout stuck to the stadium entry doors "World Cup delayed - please contact IRB"

Maybe we should start early by getting Vodafone & Apple marketing execs together to make sure we keep the standards up lol

I thought ALL iPhone 4 handsets would be distributed with free cases?

Well Vodafone just lost themselves a 10 year on account customer with this.

Everywhere on the shore sold out by 12:45.

All the pointless secrecy and mystery just pisses me off even more.

This is just plain friggin ridiculous...
Just been at DS Wireless in Newmarket.  They had them, well they had about 4.  The que was perhaps 100.  (It took them 50mins to sell thos 4 units).  They could have bloody told us.  I am pretty p**ssed off with VF right now.  I only need ip4 as I'm a developer, but am gonna have to wait now.  But I will not buy from VF after this mess...  Communication, and looking after customers should be #1.  Not letting a que grow becuse of some potential marketing benefit.  This is the only reason they would not tell us their stock levels.  Marketing hype.  Of the worse kind!
Robby.
