Avoid the iPhone 5. Intermitant fault with the home button and the new silver coating cracks after a couple of weeks apparently. The 5-a/s hopefully fixes these problems. 3rd camera is nice though.

So does anyone know why it was actually delayed till 12 today. Maybe they didnt get the shipment on time and got some airfreighted overnight from OZ. Anyhow, nor apple or vodafone are going to tell us.

I'm still waiting till tonight to order online-8pm? They'll probably put me on a 3 week back order.

Key word is "probably". How many people were in the media saying the exact same thing about going to VF when XT was going up and down like a yo-yo? And how many of those people actually followed through and left?

We love to whinge in this country but not many people follow through with their threats.

They're just juicy comments that media love to publish, nothing more. People who are serious about changing just go ahead and do it.

A lot - friend of mine who worked a VF at the time said the phone was off the hook with people changing over during the XT debacle

Sooooo I was in line at VDF Lambton Quay this afternoon and they ran out of 32G right in front of me...took down my details and promised to 'give me top priority and ring me when they get some more'. The question now I guess is.....when? Any info out there??

I wouldn't hold my breath for that call geekygirl10. Go into another store or just buy it when you see it. That call is unlikely to come considering there are so many others wanting it.

Last year the 3 VF stores I spoke to about the 3GS flat out refused to call me when new stock arrived. Was strictly first come first served. Having said that, VF might be doing all they can to appear like they're offering some decent service after todays mess.
