Ok let's make this clear. The ONLY reasons for my wife to have the 6+ is battery life, and maybe, just maybe optical IS [coz reviews say it underperforms in this department]. Ignore screen amazingness, etc etc

1) Has any lady or anyone's lady friends or partners liked or loathed the 6+
2) How is iphone 6 battery life compared to the 5S (her current phone)

My wife has tiny girly hands and us wanting an upgrade from her iPhone 4.
She wants a iPhone 6+, reason being it will be like a mini iPad mini in her hands. :)

As long as she is aware it will be next to impossible to use one handed she'll be fine.

My wife has the 6 and average size hands and that is OK for her to use one handed sometimes if she has to.

I know the battery on the 6 plus is raved about but the battery on the 6 for us has also been excellent.

Judging from the number of diminutive Asian women I see using Note series phones I'd say it is possible.

I don't get the whole one handed thing with smartphones, either you want to use a smartphone that has all the abilities to be one and accept that one handed operation of phones is on the way out or buy a dumb phone that you can use one handed. It just seems a contradiction to have a proper smart phone and expect to use one handed.

People adapt to most things as will people that are used to smaller phones. These days you see fewer using one hand so why are we still seeing this as an option.

yeah I know what you mean, but I don't want her to be the subject of ridicule with the 6+, so just seeing if people knew women who have gone before and what the experience were

My wife switched to a 6 from 5S due to the whole size thing. Once she used my 6 plus she decided to get the 6 plus. So the 6 went back to apple and came the 6 plus. I know a few other females in my office who use the 6+ too and they love it. I think your wife will like the 6+.

"2-3 weeks" delivery time frame ... might be a good Christmas present ... let's see if it gets here any earlier.

also ordered a "tempered glass" screen protector ... let's see if that's any good at stopping the phone bending or baby smashing things on it

I ordered my wife's iPhone 6 plus on 11th november and it was delivered on the 17th November and the time frame said 3-4 weeks at the time. It was 6+ 64GB gold.

I was originally going to go for the iPhone 6 Plus but when I tried it in person, even for a guy who has big hands, I found it pretty big. Best thing to do would be to roll down to a Vodafone or Spark shop to have a hands on go with the phone.
