SO they have announced 3 of the same but different phones.

I see no one has created an owners' thread so here goes!

Funny thing is the notch is here to stay, and the MAX is big.

Wonder what the price in NZD will be? A kidney and half a liver?

$2599 for the XS Max 512gb...

Will get the 64gb version as I have only used 32gb of my 128gb 7 Plus.

although Samsungs trade-in deal is looking really tempting as I can get $1018 for my iPhone if I buy the Note 9 and through 2D they have a $200 off the retail so could essentially have a brand new Note 9 for $481, if my 3rd form level "mafs" is correct

I was wanting an iphone 9 plus, similar to the iphone 6/7/8 plus, but with the latest processing power.

The XS has a smaller screen than the previous generation 8 and costs more.

Ah, which is why you need the XS Max!

As for me, I just need a waterproof phone with very good front and back cameras. Not sure about the front camera for this thing though.

If like me you're confused by the title and what this has to do with tennis, apparently that's how you pronounce the XS (and then XR is tenner)

(Yes I had to google it lol :D)

Other phone makers are copying the notch too, google pixel 3 XL will have a notch so it seems like its here to stay unfortunately

Having said that I got over it pretty quick with my X and no doubt will be even less of a thing on the tennis max

Prices probably reflect the fact people are not upgrading as often but $2100? lol...

Don't think so.  I had a 7+ and my X display is slightly larger.

Longer but narrower. Or wider but shorter. Depending on which way you're using it.

So usable space eg when watching a movie is smaller.

PS is there a way you can make your videos cut off the top and bottom to fill the screen?

Is there any difference to real world usage of normal people between the XS and X, and XR and 8?
