  • Is iPhone's on-screen QWERTY any good for longer and frequent emails?  I've read lots of mixed reports.  After a hardware keyboard I fear that this will be a big step backwards

  • As an X Appache HTC user I can tell you that the transition to iPhone touch keyboard was easy and a great improvement

  • Is it true that iPhone on Vodafone sucks and that it's better on Telecom XT (no jokes please)?  I can choose either with my company, but probably need to stick wtih Voda for the family plan.

  • No experiance here i am stuck with XT because thats whom pays the bills say we use but it hasnt been bad so far (oh dear just cursed my self)

  • How do Apple people survive without external storage?!  I just don't get that missing from the iPhone, still ... !

  • 3GS phones can be a flash drive so no problem, U just need to carry the cable

  • How integrated with PC Outlook via Exchange is iPhone really - is it the same as WinMo integration or a retrograde step?

  • Still working on this, at the moment my exchange mail all goes into my in box, not my rules based folders, but all the same it is good mail intergration with exchange oiutlook

  • Anything else I should be wary or aware of?

  • BANDWIDTH and bandwidth and banwidth, it is costly on mobile data

  • Would I be making a big mistake and would this change require me to wear I Heart Apple t-shirts and react violently whenever anyone hints that Apple is not always perfect, that yes they're great designers but could possible, maybe, perhaps be somewhat control-freakish at times ... ?! Sealed

  • Apple are control freaks, I would jail braek my phone in an instant if it wasnt being used as a proffesional tool on which I rely.

My associates (I am in the IT feield in a MS enviroment) have all been razing me but it is fun, and yes I am now an iGeek but only with this phone. When asked when my iPad is arriving my answer is that I do not see a gap between my phone and Win Notebook big enough to warrent it. Sure I have  LOT of apps (free etc) on my iPhone but i am still discovering what it can and cannot do at this stage.

As top the T^-shirt CUE TUI's Advert yeah right.

    Thank arthurhh, appreciate your comments.

It looks like it would probably be a pretty good move as long as I'm realistic.  And fortunately my company pays my bills including data!

    Cheers,
    Mark

My company owns the number (a Multi National owned by a Kiwi in the Billion list) I own the phone they pay the bills but I am sure I will hear it if my data use gets excessive. We have a bulk scheme and it does get reported on as to usage.
