My Life chair's back rest fabric got really tatty. I Googled around and spoke to some dealers who told me that it was impossible to repair (needs 'special jigs' and suchlike).

I bought a new one, and after taking the old one off took it to bits. It doesn't look that hard to fix, but now I have new one I can't be bothered.

Before I send it off to landfill, is there anyone out there who wants it? Yours for the price of postage.

Mine is 15 years old and tatty in places, but I still love it, would probably be a good DIY project for someone

It's in Christchurch. I'll have a look at how small I can pack it.

Is this the entire frame, or just the back vertical section?

If postage proves prohibitive I'm in Christchurch and may be interested, depending on how much of a chair is left!

It's just the back section. About the only thing that wears out on these chairs is the fabric seat back.

OK. Don't think I need it then, my chair is in decent condition and don't have the storage space.
