Whoops accidently bought a UK PS+ subscription via email off NZGAMESHOP (didn't read the small print).

If anybody that has a UK PSN account is interested I'd like to sell the code. $60 o.n.o.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

What's involved with transferring it to my existing PS account? Also does it matter that it's a UK plan?

Sorry I'm a little confused about what you are asking. You will need a UK PSN account to use this code.

So it can't be transferred to another account.

I wouldn't be selling it if it could. You can create a UK account but your trophies etc will not carry over, however you don't have to delete your old account you would just have two accounts on the same Playstation.

It's worth noting that on a Vita you can only have one PSN account per memory card

Huh, I never thought about that. Well that just made this code even more worthless. FML.

I have a UK account already, what would be involved? Are you selling a whole account or a code to add a 1 year subscription?

Where do I input the code? On the store?

I'd honestly check out what the UK store has to offer and the prices of games there and then decide if you want to use it. I have a USA PS account and I love getting the latest games for $70 NZ, also with PS+ you'd just have to log in, download the games then go back to your normal account and you can still play them.

Just the code for a twelve month PS+ subscription. If you already have a UK PSN account then you would just enter the code on the PS store and presto. If you already have PS+ it will just add twelve months to your current subscription.

From what I've read that doesn't sound like the case with PS+ as it's tied to the one account.

I have a NZ and a US PSN+ account on my PS3. PSN+ subscription codes are unique to the PSN store the code is destined for, so yes, you can only use a UK PSN+ subscription code with an existing UK PSN account.

If you login to a non-NZ account, you can then download the titles from that PSN store, then log out and back into your NZ account and the titles work just fine, patches will still be applied, game saves are usually (but possibly not always) cross-compatible, and most DLC is also cross-compatible.

My NZ$70 copy of GTA5 from the US PSN store works perfectly when playing with my NZ PSN account logged in.

So, if there is content on the UK store that is not available to NZ, then this may be worthwhile if you can manage to create a UK PSN account to use it with.
