Hi all

I am seeing if anyone has any mini discs lying around they dont use and would like to get rid off/sell. I am based in Christchurch.  I am looking for about 6 discs.

Cheers

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I will have to see if the box of crap in the loft made it to the skip yet or not, but I may have some. Once I have endured the upcoming chorus visit I will go have a look.

Cold? Barely even noticed winter yet.

Must be the warmest winter I can remember.

Its not summer, so therefore too cold. Might not have to have chorus turn up now, so will go have a look post nap.

If the other GZers can't find any I might be able to help. You wanting standard MDs or the NetMD 1gb ones?

On another related topic, getting Sony Sonicstage to work on windows 10 can be a real pain. On some PCs it goes ok and others it doesn't. Have made a few MDs to use in the car as I am too cheap to upgrade the ex-Japan car stereo.

I have managed to get it working on Windows 10 after finding some updated drivers online. I am using it for the car as well.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know where you can get (in NZ) the slim line, flat Sony batteries that the NetMD ran off?

They are called a prismatic cell when I needed one, and I had to resort to ebay at the time to get a couple. Were generic looking covered in green plastic wrap type things, not branded but worked great. Was many years ago now but still see a few like it when I image search it.

The standard charger for them is a slow useless piece of crap so what I did was gut it and run 2 wires out to a proper nimh charger that could discharge it and then do a quick charge on it instead of a slow bake like the sony charger did.
