I have the i5 versions of the 2017 and 2020 which I could be interested in selling, but I gather you are after the i7?

Cheers stocksp, yep I saw your advertorial, cheers, but only highest spec processor/ram models, sans butterflies.

W/ Mid 2012 MBP 15" the difference in the 2 CTO/BTO models is only 0.1 GHz, be happy w/the 2.6 there.

Thanks for the replies people, appreciate the useful responses very much.

Not sure how many of those are going to be in "delightful condition" because the screens have a habit of going streaky. I have one (not looking to sell), and despite being babied it looks like it's been used on a building site or something.

Edit: Found an article about it. Annoyingly it seems they eventually had a free repair programme, but I didn't know about it until now and you had to claim within four years of purchase :(

100% some machines did suffer this, you can just remove the coating... mine never suffered this issue only problem is the normally excellent (scissor) kb has become dickie the last week or so, driving me nuts lol

Sorry to question your post, but what are you actually trying to achieve? All the models you are asking for are end of life or very soon to be end of life / unsupported. Most are far far slower than even the oldest M1 MacBook Air.
