I have an automatic top-up setup for wife's prepay account, set for a couple of days before the account is automatic renewed every month.

This month I received an email from 2degrees with the following:

Uh oh. There is a problem.

Hi there

Unfortunately your Monthly Auto Top Up scheduled for the 5 th day of each month did not go through because of a system error. None of the numbers in your Monthly Auto Top Up have been topped up.

Don't worry, the problem is at our end. And we're now onto fixing it for you. We'll make sure that your top up happens in the next 24 hours. We'll send you a text and an email to let you know when this is all done.

I haven't seen another attempt and her balance is still the same as the day before? Anyone knows of anything happening at 2degrees?

Also, I have just manually added some money to that account, in case their systems are FUBAR - don't want to see the phone stopped working because of some stuff like this.

Hi Mauricio

Yep, we had issues over the weekend on MATU which affected some customers, sorry about that. Other top-up methods were working ok.

Please can you PM us her number so we can see if she was one of the customer's we expected to be affected.

Cheers
