VDSL Up! Synced straight up & logged in and the Fritz told me I had Internet connectivity, but it was no go for actual traffic. Rang snap! and they found my account hadn't been activated yet for some reason, 30 seconds later and a fritz reboot and it's all go! :D

That's some pretty good International speeds for peak times!
Max download speed (HTTP) from Microsoft (I'm guessing a local Akamai cache) tops out at around 2800k/sec (consistent speed), upload to an overseas FTP server is around 650k/sec. However, it's still peak usage time ATM, so will try later too.

I'm also getting a HEAP of Remediable Errors (FEC) & Not Remediable Errors (CRC), but apparently this is to be expected when the auto line tuning is on. The latency seems a bit high as well, but hopefully that will drop once the line tuning is complete.
Can anyone tell me why the attenuation changes so much between ADSL & VDSL? On ADSL I had 3db downstream attenuation, on VDSL it's 10!
