wongtop: I'm on a legacy plan. I guess this doesn't apply to the legacy plans and just makes the new plans that little bit more tempting.

Same here, I would like to change to the new carry over plan but for some reason the $59 legacy plan has not been rolled over to the new plan..

Garymond, have you checked the $49 carryover plan?

Cost of plan per month $49
Carryover Plan 300 minutes
All You Need Text*
1GB Carryover Data

This is better than the old $59 plan, which had the 150mb data, 210 minutes, and texts.

And no I don't work for 2degrees, just a retailer that sells the phones and plans.

It's going to cost $70 to down grade, current $59 plan 210 + 100 mins, 1Gig of bonus data and texts, good for another 13 months,
but I would have gone for the $49 carry over plan had it not been for the penalty payment.

That $70 downgrade will pay itself off in 7 months.

Don't know if it affects you, but you only have to remain with 2degrees for the full contract term, you are free to move plans after you are 6 months into your contract.

I'm also on a legacy plan, with thousands of minutes, now I have to choose between (effectively unlimited) minutes, or having a nice bunch of data when away on holiday.
Fear of loss with the minutes wins for now, but I will probably regret it once I go away!

:( i thought 2degrees was supposed to give preferential treatment to their prepay users!

they aren't 'supposed' to, but they often do
I believe they are in the process of trying to convert a lot of prepay customers to contract.
they will eventually have to focus on prepay again as part of the cycle

Alas no good for me. I am on a legacy $39 plan with 1G of data. I regularly bump up against that limit each month so there would be little to carry over. And the $39 carryover plan only offers 750MB of data so that's even more restricted.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Me three.

Me four. Have gone to Pay Monthly, so I can share data. Am on $29 plan with 500 mb data. Lots and lots of minutes for me.
For me to get more data means going to the $39 plan, to get only an additional 250mb per month.

Cheers,
Joseph

My data did not roll over this month. Does the promo start as of this billing month?
