Hopefully they can get that sorted out for you soon! My guess is that with a constantly changing IP address global mode is, for some reason, losing track of you.

it hasnt changed in a few days, hopefully it finds me again.

does it need to know my IP to work?

i think if it was losing track of me wouldnt netflix come up with a message saying "its not available in your country yet" rather than just not being able to watch videos sometimes?

Hey all,

We have been having exactly the same issue over the last 48 hours or so.

Running Slingshot VDSL2 with Global mode on and have made no changes on the router or service side.

Get the same result on 2 different Macbooks and a Windows 8 PC, all of which worked fine before.

Up until this point, Netflix was always working fine.

....and FWIW BBC iPlayer is working fine, so it seems to be specific to Netflix.

After looking up the actual error (displayed at the bottom of the pic in your original post) seems like my original guess is completely off beam. Is that link of any use in resolving your issue?

Of course, it doesn't explain why updating my IP address worked for me, quite likely just coincidence. That said, I didn't make any changes to the computer whatsoever.

so this would suggest global mode is working?

yeah, i wonder what it is then, only thing thats changed on my network is that im now using pfsense installed on my old netbook as the router, my dlink died.

i can still search for things on netflix but its just when i try to load up a video

doh - i spoke too soon - same error for me too now damnit : /

hope it gets fixed soon

ps: as others have said seems to be netflix specific as hulu and iplayer still work....

yeah i saw that, but i dont understand why silverlight would just stop working on all my computers at once, it makes no sense.

We all using Macs?

There was a recent Safari update which might have broken Silverlight...

Will have to check again tonight to see if it really is still running on my Windows PC - maybe I imagined it!

i use mac and windows, however i use google chrome, i know its not supported on mac with silverlight but it works usually, even safari doesnt work so its not that.

i use google chrome on my windows 8.1 machine too, i havent tried internet explorer yet, might do that next time it breaks

Same issue here as well.

I'm currently using Netflix on the XBOX One. Getflix is my current provider for unblocking Netflix.

Netflix was running perfectly until the last couple of days where I'm getting the following message everytime I try to watch an episode or movie:

Internet Connection Problem
An Internet or home network connection problem is preventing playback. Please check your Internet connection and try again or visit netflix.com/tvhelp for guidance

5012-1090.X7032-1108

According to my account on Getflix, my current IP address is registered and able to unblock services from my IP Address. My DNS status is configured correctly as well.

Any help would be appreciated

Joining the club on this one :( so frustrating, it started out only slightly annoying I just had to refresh once or twice and the ep would load but holy tonight netflix isn't usable at all I refreshed something over 20times before and same error every time at 50% loading.

Might as well throw out what I've tried with no luck at all.

Reset router/PC (windows machine)

Tried different browsers/uninstalled and reinstalled silverlight/disabled firewall and AV

Disabled global mode (tested to make sure it was by trying to use netflix and it said not available in my country) then tried to use HOLA and received same error.

Weird as it sounds I'm glad it's not just me, hopefully it's fixed asap because it's been going on a few days now.

We are having the same issue. We're with Telecom and use UnoTelly. NetFlix takes an age to attempt to load content on our Apple TV, before giving an error message stating the content is unavailable. Using the browser interface (Chrome on OSX) we get the same error message reported earlier in this thread.

Its interesting to note that its only the US version of NetFlix that gives us this issue, and if we tell UnoTelly to switch to the UK version, it works in the browser (haven't tested the Apple TV, but will do more diagnostics over the weekend).

Officially joining the club. On Vodafone and using UnoTelly.

I wonder if Netflix are doing some active blocking and the error messages are Microsoft style red herrings? Hopefully someone in the know will see this thread and chime in...

Yeah, netflix is poked for me. Same issue where it keeps loading for ever. Using Unblock-US.

I did try using tunnelbear VPN client and it seems to work fine on that. Also, when I changed unblock-us region to UK or any other country also seems to work fine. Suspect game of cat and mouse is going on with Netflix and geo unblockers.

Its interesting to note that its only the US version of NetFlix that gives us this issue, and if we tell UnoTelly to switch to the UK version, it works in the browser (haven't tested the Apple TV, but will do more diagnostics over the weekend).

I've done something similar to you with switching my region to United Kingdom using Getflix and it now it has seemed to have done the trick.

Works on the XBOX One as well.

Hmm - will have to try changing region too over the weekend. Been watching Netflix on my Sony Bravia over the last half-hour (all my devices are set to US) and have been getting "Content Error" messages between every 40-120 seconds, which require me to hit a "Retry" button before the content continues to stream. I'll try from an Android device tomorrow. It could also be that Netflix in general is having some major problems.
