I take back what I said about not having any long term issues with Snap v6. Can confirm that v6 is completely dead for me as well right now.
According to Snap support they've taken it down to address issues with it, and have no ETA on when it'll be back up.

I was also unable to get a response on when the IPv6 withdrawal might be resolved.

Pleasingly getting Sixxs running on the Fritzbox was very, very simple so IPv6 service can be readily restored.

It is interesting that SNAP themselves have not posted something here, I wonder why ?

It'd be nice to have clarification of what the issue actually is. Until they turned it off the only issue I had with v6 was slower throughput than v4 to overseas destinations.
I suspect the issues that people have had with it have been due to something weird the Fritzboxes have been doing.

I have noticed lately that Ralph has been very quiet on most of the threads - I even sent a private message re some specific issues and I haven't had any response to that.

From what I gather they're having hardware problems and they're waiting on a vendor to provide a fix.

I asked them to post on their network status page (as it currently says "OK - No Known Network Problems"), but they seem reluctant to do so. I'm guessing that 95% of their users don't know what ipv6 is and if they see problems on the network they'll get worried?

I'm not too fussed about it not being on the status page. I do want it fixed ASAP though, and would like to know what the issue actually is/was that made them decide to kill it entirely.

Hi All,

This issue should now be resolved, and if you re-authenticate you should receive a dynamic IPv6 address. sorry for the inconvenience caused we had a couple of small glitches and the quickest way to resolve was to temporally disable this in some areas. We don't expect that this will happen again.

Good news static IPv6 allocations are close and we hope to have more info in the new year with a launch date.

Thanks,
TheRalph

Good to know that IPv6 is back. Have been meaning to get my Edgerouter setup for v6. Bit hard when it has been disabled.

IPv6 is still up and running for me, but I do find that I've been having some trouble accessing certain IPv6-enabled sites, such as Wikipedia. I'm not sure if this is related or not.

Hmmm...

My Fritz is being issued an IPv6 subnet and in turn issuing my PC's, servers and other IPv6 enabled devices an IPv6 address however I am unable to access anything via IPv6 from any of my devices.
Before Snap's v6 update I never had issues with v6, but now post their update I do :|
Had to disable v6 in the fritz to get stable internet :(
Might have to go back to using SixXS for stable v6...
