interesting; I sent a text from 2d to vf the other day and it failed. As in she never received it.

The txts that I said never arrived did arrive, about 2-3 hours later. I'm not 100% sure that they all did, but at least some did.

It's still happening. My gf on Telecom and I were trying to arrange transport this evening, but texts weren't working well. They were arriving slowly, then out of order. A txt sent at 8.05 only arrived at 8.25, which ended up through circumstance wasting my time.

2degrees called me the other day to say it's a problem on the Telecom side. I don't much care. I had no problems on Vodafone, so to me it's a 2degrees problem.

The chances of me staying with 2degrees is slim, very slim, partly because of the problem, partly because of the service around the problem.

Hi, Will have a look again. Did it resolve for you after the interconnect issue was fixed on 3rd June?
Can you PM me your number and your gf number.

Unsure why 2Deg are saying that, because there is a process for them to log it to us.

Problems occur from time to time on all networks. There was an issue delay on Friday on the XT side that was resolved around 23:40. I'll get Tier 2 to check if they can see any problems on our side with your account.

Sure problems happen, but repeated similar incidents indicate a deeper problem. This isn't a problem I remember having in 7 years with Vodafone.

If this is purely a Telecom to 2Degrees problem it could be seen as anti-competitive on the part of Telecom, because problems like this will make people leave 2degrees for one of the big telcos.

Hi, I am also having this problem still! 2degrees say it is a solved problem but this didn't start happening to me until 5 days ago!
I have rung both 2degrees and Telecom.

Some messages make it through and some don't, while some get scrambled and i receive them at random times during the night when they were sent during the day!

I don't know if people are trying to contact me or not!

If it's fixed how come its still happening!

I just sent myself 5 text messages of a Telecom XT phone to my 2degrees phone. 48 minutes have passed!! only received 1 text!!!!!!!!

At first i thought it was my phone..even though its almost new . But so many people still have this problem!!

Whats going on??

I just got a call from 2degrees, they and Telecom are looking into it. They told me the link between 2degrees and Telecom doesn't have enough bandwidth for the volume of messages flowing through, which is why things are behaving randomly.

I'm not sure that explains why you get one message out of a multipart message, but not the other, but at least they're looking at it.

I ported from Vodafone to 2Degrees when 2D first launched.I got this problem sometimes when send or receive SMS.I don't know if this right or not but I think this only problem to the ported numbers

I don't think so, I've been having the problem tonight without realising it till i found this thread, and I only got a brand new number from 2degrees a month ago.

I also just noticed this issue too last night, texts arriving up to 2hrs late.

Ported '027' number on 2D to Telecom CDMA customer

Ported '027' to another ported '027' both on 2D are fine.

yea this has happend to me in last few days, from my gf on 2deg to me on xt, my txts to her are late sometimes.

Annoying to hear about this Cuz i was just about to get a new 2deg phone....
