timmmay: It's still happening, and has happened multiple times each day for the past few days. Today I got the first part of a message from a telecom customer at 3.48 and the second part at 3.56. I don't know if it happens with other carriers since I mostly txt Telecom.
I'll try to PM the 2degrees user with details. Last time I emailed customer care they replied 5 days later and were a waste of time when they did, but phone support is usually good.
