clsan: Was on Telecom prior to this, no issue. Just happened after we switched to Orcon.

The on-site support engineer came to check before, they didn't find any fault.

You didn't provide answers to any of the questions posed. We know it happened after switching to Orcon. But only you answer the questions will people be able to help.

I dont know how to provide the answers, if there is some way please tell me, I didnt realize I would have to get a degree in server administrations to get a decent internet service. Do I have to ring orcon and get them to give me all the details? I'm on the standard home package.

Edit: oh I see your talking to some other guy

OK thanks everyone for their help, I pulled apart my entire house and replaced the wiring and things are looking better now. Shame on me for ever suspecting it was orcons fault :)

The old man would kill me if he found I had touched his precious wiring but the state of it was a disaster and hes away for the weekend, hopefully when he see's the speeds he wont belt me to bad...

Until you can procvide some answers to the following as I have posted in this thread already

Are you on a ULL connection or wholesale?
Are you connected to a cabinet or exchange?

And quite clearly based upon your recent post your wiring is potentially the cause. Internal home wiring is always always the cayse of poor DSL performance. Unless you have a professionally installed master filter you'll typically always receive sub standard ADSL2+ performance.
