sbiddle:  ... but potentially won't find any plans that are as cheap as the one you're on now.

You may not find plans this is cheaper, but you may get higher cap with the data. My experience is that I paid  Orcon $107 for phone and 30GB data at 2Mbps (last a couple of months), plus voice mail, call waiting and caller ID. I always ended up paying more due to 2-5GB over cap at $2/GB.  And now I are paying the same amount to Telecom for phone and 60GB at 19Mbps, plus caller ID (not another two features). Less worrying about paying extra.

Since moved to Telecom, I have not experienced any performance issue so far. I am not saying that  Telecom is definitely better than Orcon and will always be. I however can see that Orcon is currently struggling with the issue, which has caused their reputation going down the drain.

I was with Orcon for about 9 years before moving (back) to Telecom two months ago. Why choosing Telecom, because I did not have much time to shop around... and current plan is perfect for me.
