I dont think this is a NZ typical issue, its more of a "Chorus answer to no-one" and wont deal with the end customer issue.

Also fibre has seen a lot of smaller ISP's startup who don't always have the most robust processes in place. Orcon isnt that new, but are relatively small. The bigger players like telecom & vodafone usually have very good customer service.

Well I have lost count of how long it has been several months I think and I still dont have fibre , I dont even have a date

Each time I ring Orcon , because they sure as hell dont ring me, I get told ...... waiting on this you should have got this if you dont do this

I really don't give a ......

Just tried ringing them again Orcon that is

I was on hold for tec support for 5 or 10 mins and gave up

I then rang back on the sign up new customers (usually its weighted to answer those calls first) 5 mins forget it

ho hum what to do.......
