The fact you have to chase them or find your own way, for a "fix" shows they have issues.

My "fix" for 2D issues was to leave.

Well, that's one option.

I really hate seeing existing customers being disadvantaged in comparison with potential new customers.

I had a callback scheduled, got an email. Had fixed IP, got CGNAT-ted "by mistake", then they couldn't give me the same IP. It's a PITA.

Next thing I am expecting is for someone to tell me that my UDM PRO is not compatible with Hyperfibre.

"Your mileage may vary depending on who at 2D you speak to"

I think this is the bit 2deg execs need to pay attention to. Not good for business.

I fully shifted away from 2degrees broadband. The technical staff are awesome but what let things down for me is the shift from the 2degrees network over to Vocus as I’ve had so many friends connections so far have problems and while I know this will get corrected, I just decided it was time for a change.

You guys can guess who I’ve switched to fully. But yeah those driving these decisions (the move to Vocus, the fact Hyperfibre is only available to new customers, the new customer deals etc) need to take a look at what their customers are saying. It almost feels like lately there is a huge disconnect between 2degrees and their customers.

Who’s that? Didn’t think there was a Vodafone in NZ still 😉

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I don't think people will be Quic to forget the old name.

Can agree with this, the staff are technically competent , but internal process is **** and holds back the staff from doing what they need to do.....  staff know how to fix the problem, but arent allowed to without jumping through 20 hoops while balancing a $500 bottle of rum on their nose.

This became extremely noticeable during the recent purchases/migrations - too much too soon, too big.
