Paper: Okay so there are people still having these problems ? I can't connect to a few websites and can't play LoL and XBL is even messing up. I'm paying quite a lot for subs and the internet so does anyone know if this is being resolved ? because I've rang them and they keep giving me this NOC team bs.

Yup still having the issues here. I think what is bugging us the most is Slingshot is not even acknowledging there is a fault. I called 2 days ago about this issue and the girl was sending a tech out to the local cabinet here.. to "Switch" something over (christ i hope they don't make it worse). When the service works it's actually great, and she just said to try again on Monday or tuesday, but by then it would of been 7 nights of issues. Do you guys actually notice the issues start at a certain time around 4- 4:30PM -6pm until around 1:30AM.. Last night i couldn't sleep so I hopped online and tried and it was exactly 1:30 AM where my services started to resume back to normal, Skype voice worked again. I was able to connect to my online games. During the day it has been fine. Always around that same time the service goes to pot.
Would love to know what is going on. Heh was looking forward to getting some gaming time in. oh well it's gotten me into reading a good book at least :P
*Update 8:11PM* I can now log into World of Warcraft and there is no lag and hasn't disconnected. I was not able to do this at all last night.*
Tried to use the services through a quick ssh tunnel and that was a success so it seems this is most assuredly something on slingshot's end. It's quite annoying especially since it's been going on for more than 4 days now.

Ditto here - using VoIP directly, I can't even login to the server - using it via a SOCKS proxy over SSH to get out of slingshot's network, and it's all fine.
The fact that the port (and the protocol) are making such a difference really does point the finger at the shaping in some way - but I imagine "turn it off" isn't really an option.
Given that I do all my P2P via a different system - I wonder if I can get an "unlimited without shaping, but P2P not allowed"? :)
*Insert big spe*dtest result here*
