A reminder that our second Snapper event is happening in Wellington today. You can still register for the last couple of seats available.

At some stage someone on this forum (can't find the thread, sorry) claimed that Touch2Pay will only work with the standard ROM. I am just itching to flash CM10 onto my SGSIII, however I do use T2P regularly.

Are we still constrained to use the standard rom even with the latest snapper sims?

cheers!

This is mentioned a number of times in this thread, along with the reasons why.

CM10 doesn't, and likely never will, contain the Open SIM API required for Snapper to work. Stock standard Android doesn't contain this either.

Pretty much...yes. I've contacted various developers to ask if they can include the Open Mobile API in their builds but nothing yet. I've tried various custom ROM's and none of them have worked so I'm still on the 2 Degrees one.

New handsets being added to the Touch2Pay lineup:

Two more really smart phones have joined the Touch2Pay family, the  Samsung GALAXY Note II with a super-sized 5.55″ HD screen (the first Touch2Pay handset with Android’s Jelly Bean Operating System) and the small and stylish Alcatel OT-922.

There's already a discussion here for this problem with Snapper and the Jelly Bean update and this is explained there.
