And yes, I have restarted the router, turned it off for longer than thirty seconds and turned it back on again and made sure no one else was downloading any large files. However this problem is recent (last 2 weeks), and before these weeks we had fast internet with no delays in any page loads.
However now most websites take 2-3 minutes to load and playing any MMORPG is unbearable. I for instance play Final Fantasy 14, and often get over 900 ping.
We are paying near 200 dollars a month to not be able to play our video games.
We have sent numerous emails to Orcon and called them, and they have 'resolved' the issue but the problem has still persisted. We even replaced our old NetGear modem and the issue still exists. We assumed it was a peak hour issue but this has persisted even to 1-5am in the morning and throughout the day.
My connection is a wired connection.
