Hi there
This is directed at some of the resident Geekzone Orcon staff - hopefully I can get some assistance. The helpdesk staff have been really good and helpful but this issue is not getting sorted.
We moved from Papamoa to Tauranga 30 June. We had VDSL (prior to that ADSL) at Papamoa with VOIP. Our new address did not support VDSL, but can get Fibre. We therefore were put on ADSL until fibre was installed.
Our phone number was changed and we plugged the phone back into the standard wall jackpoint with a splitter for the modem (used the Netcom modem).
Fibre was installed last week and it's brilliant!
BUT our phone hasn't been put on VOIP yet, was told it would take 24 hours on 10 July.
I phoned Orcon on Monday 14th July and were told the number needed reallocating or something but it would be done asap.
The copper line was then switched off but VOIP is not working yet, it's been two more days so we have no phone line or answerphone at all which is becoming an issue for us.
Any help would be cool :)
Matt
